Music Director/Conductor
Danile Delfin is currently a member of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Hong Kong Oriental Brass. He received his Advanced Diploma (Trumpet performance) and the Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts. He was a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth symphonic Band and had performed overseas in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Beijing and the United Kingdom.
As a conductor, he conducts the St. Paul's College Band, Yaumati Catholic Primary School Orchestra, Alliance Primary school (Kowloon Tong) Orchestra, Ying Wa College Band and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Junior Wind Band. He was invited to conduct the HK Academy for Performing Arts Symphonic Wind Ensemble for concert tours which takes part in the Asia Pacific Band Festival in Japan and Australia. In December 2004, he was the guest conductor of The 4th Junior Band Festival in Singapore. Recently, he was given a scholarship in Conducting by the World Association for Symphonic Band and Ensembles to attend the conducting symposium in the State University of New York at Fredonia, New York. |
