Pianist Deborah LEE has performed extensively throughout the United States as a soloist and chamber musician. She made her debut in 1992 with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Since then she has performed with the Georgetown Symphony, the Aspen Concert Orchestra, the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, and the Skaneateles Festival Orchestra. She was a guest artist at the Skaneateles Festival at Shaneateles, NY, where her performance of Mozart Piano Concerto K. 467 was reviewed by the Central New York Post as being, "graceful, charming, and polished. Her elastic phrasing breathed elegance and sensitivity into the piece."

Ms. Lee has been the winner of numerous competitions and awards including the Nakamichi Concerto Competition at the Aspen Music Festival, the Maryland Distinguished Scholar in the Arts Award, and first prize in the piano category as well as an award for outstanding performance of an American composition at the 1992 General Motors/Seventeen Magazine National Concerto Competition. As winner of the Koseiuszko Foundation National Chopin Competition. Ms. Lee was invited to perform at the 50th International Chopin Festival in Poland. Ms. Lee's former teachers include Robert Weirich, Rita Sloan, and Neil Tilkens. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in 1996 from the Peabody Conservatory, where she studied with Ann Schein.

As a member of the Verano Piano Trio, she performed at the Aspen Music Festival and on the Aspen-Salida Concert Series. During the summer of 1996 the Verano Trio was invited to participate in the Jerusalem Chamber Music Encounters, where they played in master classes given by Issac Stern, Leon Fleischer, and Joseph Kalichstein among others. Ms. Lee was a participant in the masterclasses of Peter Frankl and Claude Frank at the 1996 Verbier Festival and Academy.
