ELAINE KOO, a born-talented girl with strong passion for music and an enthusiast of rock and roll. Elaine learnt Chinese traditional musical instrument - lute (pipa) since her childhood and over the years on her effort and having a gift for music, her skill in playing lute (pipa) has been recognized and reached professional and national level performance. During teenage years, Elaine was influenced by the western music culture with strongly passionate about rock and roll music . With the thorough musical knowledge and skillful technique in Chinese traditional musical instrument, her skills in both lute (pipa) and guitar increased magnificently which drove Elaine to develop her music career in this path. Early from the time when Elaine made performances casually in Beijing, Mr. Alan Tam (“King of Cantopop”, also alias “principal of Hong Kong music industry”) was deeply impressed by Elaine’s unique and attractive stage performance and her passion for music as well. She gained acclaim and encouragement from Mr. Alan Tam on the development on her music career further and moved a great step forward. After that, she formed a four-girl band “V4” with other three music lovers and Elaine leaded as the main vocalist and guitarist of “V4” During the period from 2010 to 2013, Elaine was being invited to undertake the position of guitarists at “Alan Tam China & Worldwide Concert Tour” for more than 50 concert shows. With the strong potential and powerful stage performances of Elaine, Mr. Alan Tam invited her to sign an artiste contract with his management company, Entertainment Impact, in 2013 and broaden her development to Hong Kong and other Asian markets. To let the audiences having the chance to watch her unique rock and roll stage performance, Elaine was invited by Mr. Alan Tam to participated in “Alan & Hacken Live 2013" which was held in Hong Kong Coliseum in December 2013 and inevitable to continue her highlighted performances in the following worldwide concert tour in 2014, being the main guitarist and special guest performer. Entering into 2014, concrete plan has been made for Elaine to further her career development as a solo singer and musician. Many projects have been confirmed for her and are awaiting such as new songs will be released, as the special guitarist and performance guest of “Alan & Hacken China & Worldwide Concert Tour” of which more than 10 shows in Mainland China has already been confirmed in 2014 and many more show performances to come. Moreover, Elaine has been appreciated by famous international guitar brand “PRS” for inviting her to act as first spokeswoman of the territories of China, Hong Kong and Macau for the brand. Elaine’s growing passion in music will definitely enable her to move and explore further while every opportunity of collaboration will be truly a wonderful experience for Elaine. *******************************************************
