Jun Kung - renowned drummer in Asia, also an award winning singer songwriter and music producer, he is one of the most in demand touring and session drummers in the region.  Born in Hong Kong and raised in Macau, Jun once went to Drummer's Collective NYC and continued his studies in music. Started at a young age as a session player in Hong Kong, he has been one of the most hired drummers in the local music scene, both in studio and on stage. He produced and played in his own albums and therefore he got the all-round drumming perspective when it comes to working on other artists' projects.

Other than his own music development, Jun has been actively working on side projects. In 2005 he released an indie heavy rock influenced album, Ginja Rock; an on-going jazz/ fusion project "JunkArt" featuring Eugene Pao on guitars; from year 2000 to 2005, he was the drummer for Paul Wong's band "Hann" (Paul Wong: the guitarist in legendary Hong Kong rock band Beyond) and released 6 albums with the group. The line of top notch local singers he toured with included Eason Chan, Sandy Lam, Faye Wong, Khalil Fong, Karen Mok, Alan Tam, Kenny B, Danny Summer, Soler etc. Experimental projects including a multi-media performance led by Avant-Garde composer Kung Chi Shing (The Box) for "M Garden"; participated in various music festivals in Hong Kong, one with Bobbi McFerrin on percussion improvisation and a classical meet jazz music performance with Ms Yip Wing Sze, the conductor / Music Director of Hong Kong Sinfonietta.

He also got privilege in playing on stage with Vinx (percussionist for Sting), Harold Seay (bass player in K.C. and The Sunshine Band) and Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani / Steve Vai). Other regional iconic pop artists are Coco Lee, Tanya Chua, David Tao, Lee Hom, Wu Bai, and many more to come. One of the record breaking marathon tours was Jacky Cheung's "The Year Of Jacky Cheung World Tour '07", it ran for 105 shows over 60 cities and Jun participated them all. Jacky once described Jun as one of the best drummers he worked with. The continuous support and trust in Jun's ability in drumming and producing has shown in his non-stop touring schedules and endless invites which extended not only to foreign artists touring in Hong Kong, but also to mainland mainstream pop singers' concerts and International Music Festivals in Europe.
