Marie-Laure Muller was born in Strasbourg, East of France, where she obtained her first price in piano at 13 years old after only 3 years of studying. First piano recital at 10 years old.
ML Muller studied also in Paris with Yvonne Loriod-Messiaen and Aldo Ciccolini before going to Geneva (Switzerland) where she studied at the Conservatory of Music with Louis Hiltbrand; she was also teaching piano there.
After a year at the Guildhall School of Music to study piano accompaniment with singers, ML Muller was invited by Menahem Pressler, pianist of the Beaux-Arts Trio of New York, to study at Bloomington Indiana University (USA).
Once in USA she met Seymour Lipkin from Curtis Institute, (collaboration with Rudolf Serkin) who invited ML Muller to study with him at Manhattan School of Music New York where she obtained her Master of Music.
ML Muller participated at many music festivals, creates a Summer Music Festival with master classes, and concerts near Strasbourg (East of France, at the German border) called "Rencontres Musicales de Saverne" since 1996 in the Chateau des Rohan of Saverne.
ML Muller established herself in Berlin where she is teaching and played many recitals at the Berlin Philharmonie Hall "Kammermusiksaal" and made recording for "Marus Schallplatten Berlin", life-concerts from the Berlin Kammermusiksaal.
ML Muller is an established piano pedagogue invited for master classes in different countries such as Taiwan (one month every year since 12 years), Hong Kong, Toronto, New York (Conservatory for Performing Arts), New Jersey (Montclair State University) and Brazil.
