NICOLAS BALDEYROU was elected Rising Star 2004 of European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO). He embarked on his musical adventure in Paris, studied clarinet with Pierre Billaud and then with Véronique Férre. At the age of 14, he won in numerous major international competitions, including the ICA Young Artist Competition (USA). In 2004, the recording CD, which recorded his performance with the clarinetist Ludmila Peterkova et al & the Prague Philharmonic, won the ‘Classical Recording of the Year’ award in the Czech Republic. Nicolas is currently the principal clarinetist at the Orchestre National de France.
