- He was born in 1982 in Sichuan, China.
- Started learning accordion at Youth Palace of Chongqing City at 4 and turned to piano at 7.
- At 9, he became a pupil of Professor Dan Zhaoyi and has been trained by him ever since.
- He entered the Sichuan Music Academy in 1994 and began his formal training.
- He has been winning numerous prizes at home and abroad.
