| Dr. Kevin Murphy is unable to contduct at the upcoming “Woodwind Ensembel Masterclass”. In his place, Lisa Nelsen will take up the role of conductor for the masterclass, to be held on Saturday (April 21) at Tom Lee Academy Hall.
Lisa Nelsen is internationally recognized for her versatility as a flute soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, educator and ensemble coach, and mentor in performance practices. She has been the Specialist Flute Tutor at Wells Cathedral School and most recently was made Professor at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is an artist for Powell Flutes.
Woodwind Quintet from the Wells Cathedral School will also demonstrate and perform some popular ensemble music. Audience are welcome to join this free event. |
