Violin, both in structure and tone had a lot of improvement

during a long history. From the 16th century onwards,

Cremona was renowned as a centre of producing high-quality

violins. To the present day, their work is widely considered

to be the summit of achievement in string instrument making. 

Edgar E. Russ, a distinguished violin maker in Cremona,

Italy, will introduce the development of violin and share his

experience in violin making and maintenance in the workshop.
