The Junior Original Concert (JOC) started in 1972 is one of the significant Yamaha Music School activities aims at providing chances for students to create their own music. The JOC is not a competition, but an opportunity for children to present their musical ideas to the public.
This Year, The Junior Original Concert Hong Kong (JOC Hong Kong) was held with over 180 Tom Lee Music Foundation students from New Junior Extension Course (NJXC), Junior Advanced Course (JAC) and Junior Special Advanced Course (JSAC) performed their own compositions; some would also be selected to represent Hong Kong participating in this year’s Asia Pacific Junior Original Concert (APJOC).
