6,131 harmonica players joined hands in breaking the Guinness World Record of the largest such ensemble
In total 6,131 harmonica players joined hands in breaking the Guinness World Record of the largest harmonica ensemble at the Swire Symphony under the Stars organized by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra on 13 November 2009. More than 6000 thousands participants gathered during the intermission of the concert and performed with the Orchestra under the direction of Perry So a piece lasted 7 minutes and 25 seconds titled World Record Melody. Each participant also received a free HOHNER harmonica and a Commendation Certificate.
